BBQ Station

Device:

The'BBQ Station' device has the capacity of filtering 10,000l of seawater in 40min. It is a two-part device with a pump and the filtering station connected with a hose. The pump is covered with a foam body to create neutral buoyancy. The base of the filtering station is a cut of 100l bucket that will provide a secure stand when filled with water. On top of the bucket, a filtering tray gives instant access to the pumped content.

Function:

The device operation is entertaining. A lot of flotsam, stones and sand are shot into the filtering tray. After a 15min operation, it was possible to spot some plastic particles.
